Hold up a treat in front of your dog or cat when trying to take pictures of them. This will not only keep the animal still for a few seconds while you snap the picture, but it will also get them to look in the direction of the treat and therefore, the camera!

For a fun treat your cat will adore you for, preheat oven to 350 and mix 1 can of cat food, 1 can of tuna, and 1 egg. Put mix in a zip lock bag and create a little hole in the corner. One by one, squirt little treat sized kitty kisses onto a lightly buttered cookie sheet and bake for about 15 minutes. When cool, delight your cat to no end with as many treats at a time as you like!

The easiest thing to change between you and your dog is you tone of voice. Often without thinking, many people raise the tone of their voice whenever they talk to their pets. Pets hear this as positive even if you are saying "no" or "stop". They do not understand the words, just your tone. If you want them to stop doing something just drop the tone of your voice. A lower tones equals a command in a dog’s mind and a higher tones equal praise.
