Resist urge to ask “what do you do for a living?”

When you first meet someone resist the urge to ask "what do you do for a living?" Get to know the person as themselves and let that information naturally fall into the conversation. That way you don’t make assumptions regarding a career and you possibly could save embarrassment over some answers you might receive as well.

Instead of focusing on your significant other’s flaws, try instead to focus on their strengths. For example, if they are dragging you to an event you do not want to attend, don’t say "We always go where you want." Instead, try "I love that you like planning stuff for us to do, but tonight, I’d like to give it a shot."

A Preacher told us that when a couple is arguing they should just strip down and argue in the nude. It helps them to remember why they are together and after the arguing is over, it will give them something to talk about later. Made us laugh.

Know if you should stay in relationship

I believe a healthy relationship is when you can look at the relationship and honestly say you are happy at least 80% of the time. If you you aren’t then maybe it is time to move on.
